Problem:

High speed pulverizing equipment was being damaged by iron contamination in a mid-western U.S. chemical plant.

Solution:

A 30-inch (762 mm) Eriez circular Model P Grate Magnet was installed in the charge hopper of their Micro Pulverizer. The grate was said to be 100 percent effective in preventing damage to the pulverizer screens.
